Amy S. Palmer, RN, COHN  Director

Amy Palmer is a Registered Nurse and Certified Occupational Health Nurse with over 35 years of professional nursing experience. Over 20 years of her experience has been exclusively devoted to occupational health nursing and approximately fifteen years have been in industrial hygiene, both in industry and in private consulting on hazardous waste site remediation projects.

Ms. Palmer has extensive experience in worker training ranging from OSHA compliance, OSHA waste site worker protection programs (29CFR 1910.120), respiratory protection, lockout / tagout, confined space, Hydrogen Sulfide training for oil and gas worker, having trained over 500 students. She has performed on-site mock OSHA inspections for sawmills, factories, wholesale and retail businesses. Ms. Palmer is experienced in coordinating medical surveillance programs for employer and employee compliance and protection with occupational exposures. Ms. Palmer also has extensive experience in project management particularly with groundwater sampling projects.
